Don't worry. I don't live in Indonesia. I'm fine in Singapore, just that I want to account my first experience for feeling temours in Singapore. It started off around 1910 (GMT+8) and I was playing a game. Suddenly, I feel that I was shaking. I tot I'm going to faint, so I rest on the table. But I feel a bit weird, I wasn't fainting. My sister who was sitting beside me also felt the shake. "OMFG!" I shouted. "It's an earthquake!" My sister was fightened (thanks to my shout =.=) and she quickly shutted down her PC and ran to her bedroom. Terrible, it lasted for 2 minutes. The building was totally swaying. I looked across the building and saw ppl rushing down to nearby open area. My neighbour also knocked on my house to see if my family is ok too. It turned fine later on. I quickly switched on TV to look what had happened. The news first claimed it's an earthquake of magnitude 7.9, then increased to 8.2. I was worried for my mother who was working during the time. I can't call her cos' she cannot receive calls when working (her boss is very strict.)
Just thinking it will be okay. Who noes today, Sept 13 around 0750 (GMT+8), i feel the shake again. I was worried. I called my mother and we rushed down to the ground level of the building. I told myself this is serious. Being troubled by the quake was never a funny matter. After watching the news which said that 4 tsunami warnings was issued and only a non-destructive tsunami was detected in Padang of Sumatra.
This is the worst quake I have ever felt for my first experience. I heard 9 ppl were killed in Sumatra. Now waiting for the latest news on the casualties and damages caused by the quake.
