It has been since long ago......

It has been long since I last posted here on Mar 12, 2008. Now I am serving my nation in the Air Force. Due to security reasons, I am not allowed to say my intented vocation in Air Force because this is for the nation and my own protection. I am now into 7th month of my national service. The first 3 mths in Pulau Tekong was memorable. Till now, I still miss the days I had fun in my coy and during the field camp. It was totally true. My coy commanders are nice. During the rest, we had fun and talked to each other like friends. I don't feel any barrier between us the Recruits and the Officers and the Specialists. My OC was a commando and now he's transferred out back to his unit. Now the OC is from the Guards. I only had like 3 weeks to know more about him. He's a great person. You do not feel any pressure when talking to him. He's friendly. He took criticisms gently. When we had a hard scolding one day, he came and comforted us.

090908 was my POP day, passing out as Private. The 24km route march before the POP ceremony was fun. We sang songs loud like nobody's business. The mood was high. That day was quite moody, as in sad atmosphere. Our commanders put up a brave appearance but was sad deep into their hearts. Though I must admit that my coy that time was hard to settle with, but we really did out job well together. My platoon once hurt my platoon sergeant. We felt so bad for that whole day. It was terrible.

Now in my new unit, I made new friends. Some are good while some are annoying and proud. My courses are starting soon. I hope that I can complete the course. Good Luck to my team. Yes we can!!!
