Maplestory said HELLO to the world on December 2004. Maplestory is the world's only 2-Dimensional Multiplayer Online Role-Playing game. It is created by a group of Koreans working in Wizet (C). Till now, number of people playing this game are increasing rapidly than any other games, be it a 3D or 2D games like Warcraft 3 or Battlefield 2. I'm one of the worldwide players for this game. I'm currently playing with 3 characters. One an ice/lightning wizard (currently level 42), another is going to be a priest (currently level 12) and the last one is going to be a Dragon Knight (currently level 1). People may think I'm siao (Hokkien for crazy), but please, I'm not the only one in the world! Okay? People can have more than what I have now. Characters running until 5 or 6. This is more! Please search for the dictionary if you don't know what is MORE! >:( Never mind about it. Back to topic...... Maplestory is not just simply a game only. It's also a online messenger where you can make friends with people from different countries. I have made friends with people from Malaysia or further away United States. Wow!!
Recently, I read a newspaper on IT. I came to read this article about Maplestory trends in Singapore. I'm surprised to read this. Maplestory is a borrowed version of Lord of the Rings trilogy. Ok, this may be true. I agree but Maplestory is more than just a borrowed version of Lord of the Rings. I may not have sufficient evidence to support this but most of my friends said this too. So please think thrice before commenting on anything.
Maplestory has 4 different characters. Magician, Warrior, Archer and Theif. These 4 characters have different citeria. So before playing or creating your character, remember to go online forum set up for Maplestory to look out and read the guides carefully. A mistake may lead to death of your character - I mean your character may play poorer than other of the same level. That's my advice to you 'cos one time I pumped in wrong points into citerias not for my magician. Now no problem! My current mage can play much better than any other of my level (Level 42) with thanks and kisses to my mage's high intelligence (near 170) when ppl are only 150++ :P haha!
Anyway, I can say Maplestory is really fun! But don't play it daily 'cos you may get addicted as some said on the article. It's not the matter to level up faster. It matters that you enjoy the game and making friends. That's it! You understand the words out of my mouth?
