It has been long that I have not received any latest news from IT world. Well... not that long as like 1 year.
News 1:
Intel has made a break-through in the world's successive processor architecture. Intel has made forward with its 65nm processor. The name given to its first 65nm architecture is Presler. Presler is used in building Intel's Pentium D and Intel Pentium Extreme Edition 900 series. Many have thought that this new 65nm technology can help Intel to do away with its unsuccessful NetBurst technology which created extreme heat. Advice: For those who are still using Pentium 4 Prescott (referring to Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz mPGA 478 and Pentium 4 600 series LGA 775) like me, please discontinue with the air-cooling if you continued to have heat problems. By default, Intel has tested that with its packaged heat-sink fan, the Prescott processor should run in about less than 50 degree celcius. It's true! But not for most of the Pentium 4 users like me! My processor runs HOT, near 85 degree celcius! I'm still planning my water-cooling system!
However, this will not be the case for Presler users. Tests have shown that Presler core runs cooler than Intel's Dothan core which powers the Pentium M processor. Presler has done quite well in most of the tests such as Office Productivity and multi-threading programs. Presler core is incoporated in Intel Core Duo processors which includes Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology (based on 65nm Yonah architecture). Cheers Intel! Congrats!
News 2:
ATI has long ago introduced its next X100o series GPU: X1900XT or X1900XTX. Both runs on near 700 MHz core and 1.5 GHz memory. These GPUs outpower most of the Nvidia 7800 and 7900 series GPUs in some tests.
Specifications:
Microsoft DirectX 9.0c Shader Model 3.0 (Pixel/Vertex Shader 3.0)

News 3:
AMD will soon be introducing its new mobile processor: Turion x2 around next H2. It actually planned to introduced it coming H2 of 2006 but delayed it to inprove tha model.
News 4:
Microsoft has delayed the launch of Windows Vista to next year. It reported that most of the instructions must be re-coded again to ensure stability. Please be patient for those looking out for Windows Vista!
