Intel finally boosts up its renowned Centrino brand

Intel introduced new add-ons to its renowned Centrino brand. These new add-ons will help boost more performance to the next-generation Centrino family called Santa Rosa. Santa Rosa will consist of two names: Centrino Duo and Centrino Pro. Centrino Duo is mainly for personal computing. Centrino Pro will be for business computing. Both will have the relatively the same technologies. A 800MHz FSB-running Core2 Duo CPUs, Draft-N wireless card (IEEE 802.11n), a PM/GM965 chipset supporting up to DDR2-667 and DX9 SM3 based X3100 (different naming but same as X3000 to prevent confusion) *Only for GM965*, lastly, Intel's very own Turbo Memory which helps to speed up the loading when running on Windows Vista. Some notebook makers have already started selling notebooks based on Santa Rosa.
